Build the Case takes students beyond the basics of debate and into stronger research, strategy and case-building. Students learn how to develop more complex arguments, use evidence effectively, anticipate opposing points and respond with sharper rebuttals.Through structured debates, research activities and guided coaching, students strengthen their critical thinking and learn how to defend a position with greater confidence, flexibility and control.

Students build confidence taking on more challenging debates, defending their ideas under pressure and responding thoughtfully when their arguments are challenged.
Students work through research challenges, case-building activities, rebuttal drills and live debates that encourage them to test strategies, think ahead and adapt in the moment.
Advanced debate builds research, reasoning and communication skills that extend well beyond competition. Students learn how to evaluate information, support ideas with evidence and make thoughtful, persuasive arguments in school and everyday life.
